Alfajr Quranic Institute, SA is a nonprofit educational centre in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded to nurture a deep, authentic connection with the Holy Quran, we provide structured programs in Tajwid (correct recitation) and memorization, leading to Ijazah certification.

Our Mission

We cultivate a community of proficient Quran reciters and scholars grounded in traditional Islamic teachings, making Quranic knowledge accessible for spiritual growth and understanding.

Programs Offered

• Quran Recitation & Tajwid: Master pronunciation and Tajwid theory.
• Memorization (Hifz): Structured courses to aid full Quran memorization.
• Ijazah Certification: Formal authorization in recitation under esteemed scholars.

Classes meet twice weekly at:

• IICSA: 1/53 Henley Beach Road, Mile End
• Maryam Masjid: 26 Clark Street, Wayville

Each term spans 12 weeks, with a break during Ramadan.
